On Saturday, the day after Pioneer Day, a few of our family met in Kamas, UT. Anita and cousin Julie Lambert Dymock had the great idea to put a plaque in the Summit Inn to honor our great grandmother. The original building stills stands where Lucy Alice Woolstenhulme Williams ran the Summit Hotel after her husband died in 1898. She did so single-handedly while also raising her 6 children.
Corla, Anita, Aunt Bonnie, and her daughter, Julie Lambert Dymock.

The 'new' Summit Inn is now a Pizza and ice cream place. They had great pizza, but no chocolate chip mint ice cream! What kind of joint is that? No chocolate chip mint! :(
The owners were so pleasant and helpful and were happy to hang the plaque and even helped hang it permanently on the wall.

Julie and her mom, Aunt Bonnie.
Aunt Oleta Lambert with the finished plaque. It was a group effort. Anita wrote the tribute. Jada and I enhanced the picture. I did the layout and printed it on parchment and Anita did the framing. We were all pleased with the way it turned out. (Anita's Ancestry book is laying next to the framed plaque on the table.)
Julie's kids also came with her to Kamas for the occasion.

Julie entroduced Anita.
Anita told a little about Lucy Alice and we hung the plaque!
Dan Littledyke, owner of Summit Inn. Remember the delicious pizza if you are ever in Kamas.

The finished living room of the new apartment with Joe and Mal. They have a view of three beautiful temples from their parking area. It is so amazing!
